We are a husband and wife Destination Wedding and Elopement photography team based out of the beautiful vancouver, British columbia

We met back in 2010 and were married on April 18, 2014. We are both lovers of music and art. Taylor won my heart by serenading me on his guitar at a bonfire with our closest friends (I’m a sap, I know) and we’ve been best friends ever since.

We’re lovers of adventure and human connection. The hysterical laughter that continues until your face hurts, the tears of joy when dad walks his daughter down the aisle, and everything in-between. We want to capture it all.

It all started for Moriah when...

I started writing stories in grade 4.  I would create characters in my mind of amazing abilities and I would write a (not so) short story of how i imagined their lives would be.  I loved the fact that I could create my own little world, filled with adventure and excitement.  My teacher saw this desire and selected me as a candidate to attend a challenge center for writing, where I could better my skills and engage my inner creative mind.

In Grade 10 I got my first taste of photography.  We shot on 35mm film cameras and I learned all of the ins and outs of the darkroom.   It was one of the only classes I couldn't wait to get to.  I just couldnt wait to get my creative mind going again.

It wasn't until my Taylor bought me my first DSLR as a wedding gift, that I starting taking photography more seriously.  I picked it up and I fell in love.  I never knew that you could evoke the same kind of emotion in just one picture, as if I had my pencil and notepad out and was writing a story.

They say a picture speaks a thousand words, We want to be the ones to write that story.
