THIS was a session for the books.
We set a date for Breton and Jeremys engagement photos a few weeks in advance. Everything was looking to go well until the day arrived and we ended up in a rare Vancouver SNOW STORM. We brought a thermos, filled it up at starbucks on the way to Golden ears because we knew we were going to need it….
Saying we were cold would be an understatement (as I’m writing this sitting in my cozy pajamas at home, I’m getting cold just talking about this!). We had probably 5-8 minutes at Alouette Lake taking pictures in front of the water before I suggested a warm up break because I literally could not move my hands. THEY. WERE. FROZEN.
After a short coffee break the park ranger drove by and told us they were closing the park because the roads were bad. We left the beach and stopped down the road at the Spirea Trail to grab a few pictures in the trees before we left. All in all these two braved the cold like champs and we left with so many amazing pictures, you would never know we were all freezing our butts off!
These two get married in July and we can’t wait for the wedding! Congrats guys!
